Each report documents archived weather observations sourced from NOAA for a specific U.S. address and date, including precipitation, wind speed, temperature, visibility, and any active NWS alerts. Reports include hourly data, the nearest observation station details, and a severity classification. See our Methodology page for details on data sources and methodology.
Reports are compiled from archived NOAA and National Weather Service data sources, including surface observation records (ASOS/AWOS), NWS Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) alerts, the NCEI Storm Events Database, and NWS Local Storm Reports. See our Methodology page for details.
StormRecord is designed for homeowners documenting storm damage, attorneys documenting weather conditions for legal matters, individuals involved in auto accidents or slip and fall incidents, travelers verifying weather related disruptions, and construction professionals documenting project delays.
Reports can be generated for any U.S. address from February 2023 through the present. Coverage includes the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories served by the National Weather Service.
Because reports are digital products generated instantly upon purchase, all sales are final. For web purchases, contact support@stormrecord.com with your Stripe receipt email if you experience a technical issue. For iOS app purchases, refunds are handled by Apple through their standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Yes. You can search any U.S. address and date. Each report is a separate $49.99 purchase covering one address and one 24-hour period. There is no limit to the number of reports you can generate.

After payment, your report is generated and a download link appears on the confirmation page. Save the PDF to your device when it's ready.
Check your browser's downloads folder. If the download didn't complete, contact support@stormrecord.com with the email address you used at checkout.
Download links are available on the confirmation page immediately after purchase. Save your PDF when you receive it. If you need a copy re-sent, contact support@stormrecord.com with your receipt details.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. StormRecord never stores your credit card information.

After generating a report, tap the Share button to send the PDF via email, AirDrop, or save it to your Files app.
